wine fasting

Okay so I admit i screwed up, I was doing a longer fast and day 5 I did something stupid and drank a half bottle or red wine. I felt extremely horrible that night, but the next morning i felt fine and continued my fast. did i get lucky or is this dangerous to do? I got super cold and hungry...
