I finally saw the ME on TV, he stated that Benoit's level was 207mcg/L.
Anyone know the conversion from the standard T reporting in ng/dL to mcg/L?
PS. If the values given are accurate and my math is correct.....Benoit's T level would have been 20,700. Someone tell me I wrong...
Total is 1104 and free is 39. My lipids are a little high but actually better than pre HRT. Now taking Zocor for that. If I can get my H&H under control I'll be good. I've always been prone to polycythmia, current at 17.5 and 51, and that's 3 weeks after donating 2 units of whole blood...
I'm not sure what is causing it, but my IGF-1 has been on a steady rise over the last year. I'm over 50 years old and I'm just under 300, up from 200 a year ago. I wished I knew, cause I'd sell it!
Haven't been feeling well for a 4 weeks, really tired and lethargic, elevated HR, borderline high BP. A quick CBC revealed, my H&H at 18.2 and 51. Donated 2 units of blood and all is good now, felt better within a few hours.
HCG has two primary roles during HRT. It mimics LH and stimulates the Leydig cells in the testicles to produce endogenous testoterone, this counteracts the negative feedback system and maintains testosterone production. It also prevents or reduces testicular atrophy.
I personally use 250IU...
My personal opinion is it's mostly just a crock of shit. In men's HRT bioidentical just means that no tesosterone esters are used. USP Grade Testosterone is used in all creame, gel, etc. preparations. The source may be different, soy, yams, blah, blah, blah and they will have differing DNA...
