    Hair loss on High Protein/Low Carb diet?

    I am taking an EFA and a multivitamin. It's not noticable yet (no bald spots). Nothing on my pillow in the morning. Just when I was my hair. My doctor says it nothing to be worry about unless its coming out in patches.

    Since I've been on this diet (carbs under 100 g) I seem to be losing a scary amount of hair. Everytime I wash my hair, handfuls of hair would come out. Maybe its my imagination, (I have long hair.) Anyone else experience this? Particularly women? thanks! :bawling:

    problem on diet.....I cant seem to..

    I had the same problem when I started my diet. I found that plenty of broccoli and a 1/2 cup serving of Fiber One cereal (14g of fiber) works wonders for me. Oatmeal is great for low GI carbs but you would need to eat many servings to get enough fiber to keep you regular. Plenty of water also...
