It must have been washed down immediately or the cap wasn't broken bad enough to let any r-ala out. It will burn for a few minutes.

practice working up and down scales at a speed you can handle. Similar to increasing weights you can lift each week, use a metronome (I think thats the name of the tempo keeping instrument - cant recall the exact name at the moment) and up the tempo you follow every week or two.

norephedrine is more thermogenic than other ephedrine forms. it is now banned of course. nor did not cause as much stimulation as eph hcl did for me however.
