Just a quick update fellas.. with some help from a couple forum members I decided to sterilize my gear by putting it in the oven for 30 mins. I did my next injection and I had absolutely no pain and no fever at all! Thanks to all for your input. I think baking might be my new staple for any UG gear.

Yes, I swab the site, and top of vial. I also am very careful to wash my hands and use sanitizer. I also always use a new pins, one to draw and a new one to inject..
