Can someone please give me a little more insight into Fatty Liver. My doctor didn't seem to worry to much about it when he diagnosed with this. His simple answer is that to treat it you must lose weight. Will this shorten my life span? Will this do permanent damage? Thanks

I am 5'6 and currently around 220. I have been diagnosed to have Fatty Liver and the doctor says the main way to treat this is to lose weight. I figure I should lose somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 lbs to get into a good weight for my size and frame. Is there a weight loss pill that my...
