My doctor told me NEVER donate old shoes. Here is why: 1. foot fungus 2. the persons foot is NEVER shapes like yours and therefore can be unhealthy. I´ve donated old shoes if they were still in decent shape. If shoes are really old....I think it´s the best to toss them. So I was astonished...

I had not worn them 6 or 7years. So I think they were unhygienic and NOT worth to donate. I am not a recycling nut, but for me, these old leather boots were DISGUSTING TRASH :eek2:

I have a lot of shoes/boots and a few were really, really old. My oldest pair of shoes was these pair of full-leather boots that I bought in the early 90s. Not worn for many years, so I had thrown them into the trash compactor...LOL. It sounds harsh, but for me, these old boots were disgusting...
