No I didn't just start. It does lean you out but there is a certain amount of water retention for most users. I think in the long run it will assist in healing injuries but initially it made my joints a little sore/tight.

As far as dose is concerned your fine. Start low and if you're getting the desired results, stay with it. If not, begin to ramp it up. I had surgery to repair labrum in right shoulder and now dealing with a torn mcl and both areas get a little sore from the water retention from gh.
