Our first date was at a chinese restaurant. Two years later, at the same restaurant, I put the big question in a fortune cookie. I met with the restaurant staff beforehand so everyone in the place was in on it.
I can't believe how easy it was and I probably saved at least $150 by not using BD tren. Got my "Aromatherapy Kit" and the instuctional DVD pretty much idiot-proofed the entire process. Def. the way to go.
Sounds awesome. Flavorful, HEALTHY alternative from the standard beef slathered in bordo or bernaise (which I love, also). The garnish was my fav. Seriously looking for alternatives to get away from white starches.

Yeah, at the last French kitchen I worked in, we did a nice tripe dish every now and then. When cooked and presented properly, it can be a very rich, stick to your ribs kind of dish. Not bad.

You should try and experience what the French are known for: Food and Wine. Some of the world's top chefs reside in Paris...check out Alain Ducasse or Joel Robuchon. Also, if you don't want to blow your life savings on one meal, scope out local brasseries and bistros serving classic French...
