    Question to do with vials, once you have poked a vial with a needle, how long will it stay sterile?

    thanks guys but you misunderstood. i have taken the rubber stopper off, i wounltnt do that. what i have done is poke a needle through twice to draw out the gear but i wont be using anymore from the 10ml vial (only used 2ml) i want to save it for next time maybe 3 or 4 months. wanted to check...

    i've put a needle through twice but now wont be using the rest of the gear. will it keep say three or four months or now that it has been poked should i just throw it away as it will not be sterile in that amount of time. sorry for the question but i dont know much about vials.
