The money is just an added perk. I had 2 surgeries done. Without them I would have lost the use of my thumb and most of the range of motion in my wrist. Theres no way I was risking that.
Since it was workers comp I had to follow doctors orders or my employers insurance would cut me off. I actually just settled my case for a nice size settlement. So now able to do what ever I want. So overall it was worth it.
It's just going to be tough getting back to where I was.
