Sounds like you had a lot of different sides from ACEI... which is definitely not the norm... millions of patients are on ACEI in general for more than just BP control... for renal protection and progression of nephropathy and proteinuria in diabetics... ACEI definitely help with the remodelling...

It'd be normal for them to test for all Hep A-C to be honest... U/S would be reasonable though. Drinking would be more suspicious of AST > ALT.
