i had some action and didnt notice any difference at all, do i need to take more? and i have some empty capsules, would it be better to put the liquid in a capsule and just swallow it? or would just swallowing the liquid work fine

so i just recieved an order of liquid Tadalafil citrate, its 30mg/ml...i took a lil less than a full ml but absolutely nothing happened...is this usual? does it need to build up in my system? did i not take enough? and how do you suggest to take it, just swallow it? it tasted absolutely...
