You can use another syringe to draw with then pull the plunger completely out of the insulin syringe and inject the oil into the barrel of the insulin syringe from the back and repace the plunger. They do make insulin syringes with removeable pins - check with Animal.

I find 25g works well if you nuke the oil in the syringe (with the pin OFF) for 7-8 secs, 2-3 times.
