It's good that you're concerned, have the right gear and are asking the right people for help. Like Judo said, just don't play with them too much, or of course they'll start feeling funny. An initial lump or swelling is generally reversable. It's the guys that don't have the right gear on hand...

If we believe everything on Wikipedia, then we can believe: Brown rice isn't made brown as part of a marketing scheme, it is brown naturally. The same can not be said about white rice.
