    Voice is one of the first indicators to bail, and *might* come back in 6-8 months, but very unlikely. The raspyness will probably even out, but whenever there is any congestion it will sound hoarse and deeper quicker than before. At best, expect a 'breathy-er' (yeah, I made that up) version...
