Recently bought a Wahl beard trimmer (handy for so many kinds of trimming) and it came with a "stubble guide" - which trims you down to that 1-1 1/2 day growth. It was only around $30 at WalMart

I tried Nair for men when it first came out. My arms and chest both broke out pretty badly and I damn ear burned my nipples off (should have read the instructions about that. D'oh!). I didn't find it to last any longer than shaving, so I went back to just shaving every few days.
