That's my usual pick too. Bianchi, Martin & Weyrich, Tobin James, Meridian, and Eberele are some of my fav picks. Good wine for the money.

Have ya'll tried Il Bastardo and La Bastarda? Two excellent table wines, one red/one white. About 7$ bottle. As table wines go IMHO can't be beat.

I'm not a big fan of Meridian.

Another good sub 10$ bottle which is always enjoyable IMHO is Smoking Loon. They have a variety of different types.

Snoqualmie Reserve Merlot 2002 is what I had a few weeks ago. Big and full bodied. The guys at the wine store may have some suggestions too.
