Anyone here from Houston? What are your favorite clubs? Everytime I go somewhere new I end up disappointed. And no jokes about "South Beach." I don't play on that team. LOL!

I live here. To be honest with you......I've been to plenty and hated pretty much all of them. My fave is a gay club....
Clubs here are either
1)Waaayyy too ghetto
2)Too stuffy..where guys look like they spend more time in the mirror than you do
Certain clubs have a good mix of both like the Roxy.
Don't go on Friday though- ghetto night.........
Downtown clubs (except Rehab which is 18 and up so it's ghetto too. hate all the 18+ clubs.......they should make it 18 for girls and 21 for guys.Ive seen that some places..anyway..........
There are a lot of clubs downtown.........
Prague, Spy, 511, Toc, Tonic....and on and on and on.....
Clubs on the 'strip' (richmond) tend to cater to the younger crowds..........

How is the Roxy on Saturday night? BTW I agree with you on the "too ghetto" or "too stuffy" observations. Have you been or heard anything about Sempers. I went there a couple of years ago and it was alright.

I really like roxy on saturday nights.... it does get real crowded though which can get annoying with all the pushing. DJ Mark D is off the hook though.....
I like Spy, and the Lotus Lounge. I love downtown Houston, personally...
And I only have about a month and a half 'til I can use my REAL i.d., LOL!

Yeah, I do Happy hour at either 3cheers or Pete's on most Fridays. 3cheers is really a cleaner place, but Pete's kicks ass when they have the live bands in the summer.
