Not many aussies on this board but I will post this link up anyway...

No fewer than 19,307 Australians between 16 and 60 have agreed to reveal the most intimate details of their sex lives to telephone researchers to allow them to compile the nation's biggest ever sex survey.
And the results confirm what we have long suspected - Australians just love sex. ...alll right!!! thumbs up for us aussies!!! we just LOVE it!! are you all jealous out there??? hmm
Ninety per cent of men and 79 per cent of women said that sex in their regular relationship was "very" or "extremely" pleasurable.
So good, in fact, that no one was getting as much sex as they wanted.
HOWEVER.......
"There was certainly something strange in the figures," Dr Richters said. "The men were having sex more often than the women." (DO MEN LIE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF TIMES THEY HAVE SEX????) apparently soooo....
And the men seemed to have a lot more partners. On average men claimed to have slept with 17 female partners while the women claimed to have slept with only seven men.
"I think it has a lot to do with wishful thinking," Dr Richters said.
"Ask a young man how many partners he has had and he will make himself sound like a stud because, unlike a woman, he is not worried about sounding like a slut.
"It has also shown how our attitudes compare with other countries. Australians are not hugely disapproving of sexual relationships but they are very disapproving of two-timing. They are committed to exclusivity in relationships."
She said the survey revealed that, despite the high profile given to Viagra, the most common sexual difficulty was simply a lack of interest. Most people agreed that premarital sex was acceptable but that affairs were not.
On the "Clinton" question, most Australians felt that oral sex counted as sex. People with higher levels of education tended to have more tolerant views. :ROSE:
