Ryan.........is it possible, that by putting this guy away, that "at least" one child may have been saved from this guy? To me, that chance is enough to put this guy away for a long time. In fact, I hope when he gets out that someone caps him. Sometimes the law HAS to be circumvented to prevent lowlife's like this guy from mingling with the rest of civilization.

BPB: I agree with you that this guy is a real lowlife. But, he still has rights. He paid his debt to society before and thus is entitled to all of the constitutional rights just as we are.

I'm not really concerned w/ protecting this guy necessarily, but I'm more concerned w/ the slipperly slope effect prosecuting him will have.

In effect, it will set a bad precedent that someone can be prosecuted for using their imaginations, for having fantasies. Prosecuting him will set a dangerous precedent for all of us..

The man is scum. Unfortunately, however, he is an American citizen and is thus entitled to the same Constitutional rights to which all of us are entitled, otherwise, what is to protect us?

I do, however, think he deserves to be beaten within an inch of his life and then anally violated. Due to my belief in our Constitutional rights, the government can't be the one to do this. That's what prison is for. =)

If O.J. Simpson had a notebook with "stories" in it about killing his wife don't you think it would be used against him?

Sorry but this guy obviously wasn't rehabilitated - if he were he wouldn't be writing stories about molesting kids. Just another strike against the current conditions of the corrections facilities and their claims of "rehabilitation".

Who is to say that the event he wrote about aren't real? That he didn't act them out at some point in his life? Just the simple fact that he is still daydreaming about it should be enough to have him in some type of program.

Sorry but until you all have kids - you'll never know what it's like. If one of your kids were molested and scarred for life by someone like this - I am sure you wouldn’t want him off the streets - especially if he still entertains the thoughts of fucking little kids.
