a good first time fast is a simple 24 hour fast. eat dinner at 6pm and don't eat again till the next day. you can also implement intermittent fasting which is where you eat dinner and don't eat again till the next midday.
the key with fasting is stay hydrated because your body is going to be pissing out a lot. prolong fasting is OUT OF THE QUESTION if you have poor heart health or it is very hot where you live. i never prolong fast over the summer for that reason. it is very difficult to hydrate during a prolong fast
