I got a letter from the managing partner of the firm I interviewed with last week....

I expected it to be an outright rejection letter that said "thanks for interviewing, but we hate you." LOL.

This is what it said, though:

Dear Heather,

Thank you for coming to Cincinnati to meet with us last week. It was a pleasure getting to know you. We were very impressed with your resume and past work experience. You also have the type of personality that would work well with the rest of the staff at XXXX & XXXXXX.

We are continuing to interview other candidates in order to fill our immediate vacancy. We do, however, hope that you will keep in touch and visit us again after you have your baby. We are always looking to recruit passionate, intelligent and dedicated individuals for the firm.

Hmmmmmmm....okay. I guess I can't blame them. Maybe I will call him back when I'm ready to go back to work. That may not have been a wasted trip afterall.

XXXX & XXXXXXX doesn't sounds real professional anyways. How do you even pronounce that?

Well no worries, I would want to work for any firm with the name XXXX and XXXXXX

;-)
LOL.

I wonder if those names are Greek?

I'm actually glad that the letter pretty much came right out and said that it is b/c I'm prego, though. At least now I don't feel like I've lost my touch interviewing. I'm going to call him back after the baby is born.

I believe it sounds like a bunch of z's, as the x is silent.

I'm like, real good at englishing.
