How can you legalize weed but not legalize...

They won't legalize growing it because they won't get their tax dollars. That's why. The government is always in it for the money and not in it for the well being of the people. What else is new?

However, one good argument against legalizing growing it would be the huge increase of illegal use by underage teens. We all know this would happen, and ignoring that fact would be a bad mistake IMO.

I don't think legalizing weed at all is in the best interest of creating a better society anyways.

My brother lived in Amsterdam for two years. He saw legalized weed, and he thought it was pretty ridiculous seeing a 12 year old kid blazing out in public without anyone giving a damn.

Worse, he saw an 8 year old drunk and sipping booze and nobody cared about that either. Wow, society in America would be so great if that happened here! Anything and everything should be legal because we have a right to choose. Not.

Some laws are there because society would take a shit and it's better that they aren't legal IMO.

This is how America learns orby. Never thinking about consequences until it happens.

Of course after legalizing weed - people will start bitching within 24 hours that Employers are demanding pot tests after lunch, and many companies not hiring young people anymore, and soccer moms start bitching that teachers/cops/medical/pilots/etc people should be jailed if they smoke weed. And more bitching that auto insurers are raising rates of people 18-24.

So you wind up with legal weed - but still illegal for millions of certain people. So all you did in the end was make it legal for potheads, kids and increaes the business of gangs.
