Processed Meats Linked To Higher Pancreatic Cancer Risk
A new report issued today says people who consume lots of processed meats like hot dogs, have a higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer.
The report, by researchers at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, was released today during a meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research in Anaheim, California.
The researchers found people who consumed 40 grams a day or more of processed meats were about 67 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer compared with those in the lowest intake group.
