deca is called deca cause of the decanoate ester
by your post it sounds like you are insinuating that sustanon is a quick ester, it is NOT. sustanon contains 4 different testosterone ester blends. only 30mg out of it is prop. the rest is intermediate and most of it are very long esters.
there is a nandrolone called NPP which is phenyl propionate ester. this is what you are seeking.. in the old days guys used deca a lot, you didn't have to inject it often (injecting wasn't cool like it is today with young guys) and you could inject 2CC's in 1 injection with minimal PIP and be done for a week. now everyone wants to inject daily

I took it to try to help an injury, not as part of a cycle to make gains. I injected it every 4 days.

I honestly don't remember but I think it was only 50mg.
3X per week is ample
NPP is the faster acting version of deca, and you need to inject it 2-3 times per week. It is the exact same thing, just a bit faster acting.
Deca and NPP are basically the same thing. The only difference is the ester and half lives. It's kind like comparing test prop to test e/cyp.

I prefer NPP much more then deca. The problem with deca is the EXTREMELY long half life and detection time. Deca has a half life of 15 days. Generally speaking, a steroid is in your body for 4x it's half life after your last injection. Deca is still in your body for 2 months after your last injection! That makes it really hard to recover from and very suppressive.
NPP has a half life of only 5.5 days. You get all the benefits of deca but it's out of your system much faster.
