I love them. they stress my whole body and I love it. I am just wondering how many others here do them. they are neglected and that is sad.

i change it around..12 weeks doing front squat, then 12 weeks doing regular squats. front squats are a great exercise..nothing hits the quads more directly.

I don't do them all the time but I try and cycle them in my routine. I agree that they concentrate on the quads like no other exercise that I've found. They also put a different stimulus on your lower back from regular squats.

Thats all I do - I like the weight out infront of my knees as much as possible.
Seems easier on the jiont.

I find that if i try to add any sort of decent poundage to the bar,the movement becomes to awkward to do.The bar is too tricky to hold comfortably and i can't concentrate all my effort on my legs.Thats why i stick to the regular old back squats, there more comfortable, you can handle more weight, and i don't have to concentrate on this bar rolling off my shoulders.I would consider useing this movement pre-contest, when the reps are higher and i'm not trying to bulk.
