How often are you fellas sore after you work out? I lifted for my legs on monday and was scheduled to work them again on thursday. Thursday rolled around and I was still sore. It was gone when I woke up friday morning. My new training concept for me is dont use scheduled lifting and lift when the soreness is gone b/c I'm told that training a muscle group when its sore causes overtraining and eventually fucks up muscle growth. Anybody else train the part only after the soreness is gone or so you guys train threw it?

Soreness is not always indicitive of muscle overload. Sometimes its simply lactic acid that hasn't been removed. Remember to stretch everday and before workouts, it will greatly help the soreness. You also might not be getting enough rest. I work out upper body and lower body 2 days. And then 2 days off. Then upper body, then lower. 2 days off... etc.

Did you just recently start working your legs? Did you drastically change your leg workout? If this is the case, don't worry. You will almost always be unusually sore after changing your routine.

I have to agree with brandon. I started doing a new leg routine a few weeks back and it took them a week to feel normal again. But now, they feel good... little stiffness the day after but thats it.
