Veins in my forearm and elsewhere on my body have been getting quite big and visible since I've started pumping. I don't mind them big but does anyone know why they get huge. Is it because bigger muscles need more blood thus the veins get bigger? or what? IP: Logged |

I think you're right, but I have a friend that has same muscle size as me but his veins are bigger, maybe it's genetic! IP: Logged |

The muscles are growing which in turn bring the veins closer to the surface, thickness of skin also,Genetics play a big part too. IP: Logged |

Body fat percentage and genetics are the two biggest factors for vascularity. ------------------ IP: Logged |
