Cicut training is commonly used to for begginers. It's great for muscular endurance. It could be used as part of a weight loss program,it's good for maintaing gains in on season for somone who is playing sports at a recreational level.Navy used in their traing back in the day, good for increasing aerobic capacity.Or you could incorperate it in your training. Circuit training is pretty much useless for bodybuilders/strength atheletes. It is good for conditioning. It is also good for glycogen depletion to prepare for a carb up on a ketogenic diet. Other than that, I don't see any reason to do it. IP: Logged |

Al Macinnis on the St. Louis Blues does circuit training for a couple weeks in the off season. It probably is useless for body builders, but on an athletic skill doing it for a couple weeks should help ya. I mean Macinnis' slap shot has been clocked at 100+ mph. So its gotta be helping him some. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I've gotta agree that it is useless. How many times do you see people at the gym doing circuit training? They never progress, or get stronger. They look the same as they did when they started. Seems like a waste of time. ------------------ IP: Logged |

When ever i get a little burnt out i'll throw in a day or two of circuit training, just to break up the monotony. ------------------ IP: Logged |
