what excercises can i do to help increase the size of my shoulders and widen them? i don't want too many that involve the traps because traps can make youlook slope shouldered. thanks -derek IP: Logged |

To get the impression of wide shoulders you need to develop the medial delts. These can be worked by doing lateral raises - I prefer dumbells than cables. Don't overtrain your delts though. They are small muscles and can easily be overtrained. IP: Logged |

Try some Arnold presses and lateral raises. Be careful when working your shoulders, overtraining leads to injury. You dont want that, it takes a long time to heal. IP: Logged |

dont worry about 'widening' them...certain shapes or features like that are merely genetic...just work all areas, front, medial and rear deltoids...they will look 'wider' when they get bigger, period IP: Logged |
