: Hitman: How old are you? Are you referring to muscle
: soreness from your workouts that last 4 days?
: If so, you must be training like Mr. Intensity or
: perhaps your protein intake isn't where it should be.
: How much protein are you taking in per day?
: Also, are you taking in a good fat/oil intake every
: day? That will help keep your joints lubricated as well
: if you're having recovery problems there.
: I'm just tossing out some things that come to mind but
: I'd need to hear more details.....
: Later, Bigcanuk.

I'm only 24. My oil intake is just olive at the moment, I've added flax for 6 (30 ml per day) months and noticed no improvement. I use about 150g of ion exchanged whey per day + 50 or more from traditional sources. (tuna chicken etc) Carbs consist of a wholewheat bread about 15+ slices per day + rice or poatoes. My joints arnt usually sore just the main bit of the muscle, the first 3 days will be severe pain to the touch eg after chest I wont be able to get out of the tub for 2 -3 days without real difficulty. My natural recovery takes at least 7 days. Training consists of two light warm up sets followed by heavy sets for 4-6 reps with max weight to failure. Followed by one set of 6-8 to fail then 1 set of 12 to fail. Obviously pyramiding down in weight. Eg chest would be smithpress followed by seated dips for triceps.

Hope this is enough info, thanx in advance for the magic solution !
