If you injected contaminated gear you would definitley know within 12 hours or so probably sooner. My buddie injected his quad with dirty fake stuff (Fake Brovel Deca) and it turned bright red a got really itchy and hot, then started to SWELL and he got a fever. He had to go to the ER and they lanced it and inserted a tube into his quad to drain the puss out.
