Something came to mind as I conclude my first 3 month cycle of AS. Will the incredible strength gains be an attribute to muscle memory when my test levels return to normal? I would not be asking this question, but i will be going on vacation (away from the gym) for about a month and then plan to get back into the groove under normal test levels when i return. Traditionally, for me,when my test levels remained constant (stayed clean) I had great results by taking 3-4 weeks off and returning to rutine. Should I expect more of a rebound this go round since the past three months have been exceptionally superior? Thanks. Vacation starts first August.

Your never THAT far from a gym. Push-ups, set-ups, one legged squats, heck, all kinds of stuff you can do to keep in the grove all in the commfort of you room! Yes, it will not be like a real gym, but you might be very happy just keeping them toned and then comming back totally recovered.

I realise that. I'm not making excuses to not work out. I am making a concious effort not to work out. I been hitting it hard for several months and I know for myself and what I have witnessed from others that taking about 3 weeks off from time to time benefits in the long run. Now back to my original question.

Then yes, I think you would do well to take a break and recover. But remember to keep eating good foods and drinking lots of water. MAybe you could work on streching them muscles???
