My fiance and I just decided that we're going to have our honeymoon in Las Vegas the week before Olympia so we can go to the shows. We were thinking about those VIP tickets, but they're 600 dollars each. Does anyone know if its worth it? It looks like you only get better seats, an opportunity to meet them, and then you can go to some fancy shmancy party with them...worth it?

Dawn - I went last year and we just bought the tickets to the events we wanted to see..unless you really want to do all the things that come with those vip tickets I think its better just to get the ones you want. Also we stayed at Mandalay Bay which was fun cause all the competitors are there and you can see them taking photo shoots at the pool the day after. We already have oour rooms reserved for this year so if you wanna stay there - you should reserve now. have fun

Hi Dawn,

I was also at Olympia last year. I only went to the fitness show. This year I'm going to buy tickets for the men's show but not the afternoon prejudging. I didn't book until the month before. The Mandalay Bay is a great hotel, and it's true about seeing all the bodybuilders and fitness stars everywhere. You have opportunities to ask questions at Muscle Beach, i.e. Lou Ferigno, Cory Everson and others. The expo was the best, bring lots of money, the supplements are cheap and me being Canadian, I got stuff I can't get here.

I think we're only going to get tickets to the prejudging for mens. It'll be cool to work out at musclebeach, it will be open to the public. I guess its such a big deal to me because I live in Florida and Ive never been to Nevada. We're going to stay at Mandalay just that weekend and MGM the rest of the week. I cant wait!!
