Hello and welcome.

Your problem is not unusual. Many women find it harder each time they diet down until it just gets too hard and they give up. I'm talking about both competitive bodybuilders as well as your average Jane Smith. I don't have a lot of straight advice to offer you, except to say that I've noticed with my own body it seems to adapt to any type of diet/exercize over time, and I need to change my approach occassionally.

I'm not into suggesting the 'hard' supplements as a first line of attack, but because of your age and experience I would wonder if manipulating stuff like T3, GH and Test might help. It would be good if you could get a blood test to check your levels of each of these (as well as estrogen). You likely would have had a lot more of all these hormones floating around when you were in your 30's. I don't know if Nolvadex by itself would make a big diff (which is why you should have your estrogen measured). Generally by the time you hit your 40's the levels should have dropped considerably making it actually easier to lose lower body fat.

As far as diet, do you take in any fats? Vitamins, minerals, etc.....

Sorry I can't be more specific, but on paper you seem to be on the right track. Age may be against you to some degree, but a friendly doctor might be able to help you out? Or at least run some blood tests so you're better prepared to help yourself out. JayeLynn may also have some ideas about manipulating Macronutrients to get fat burning.

Good luck and keep in touch

USE PURE PROTEIN BARS FOR SNACKS AND METRX PROTEIN PLUS AS WELL FOR ADDED PROTEIN. IT SEEMS THE ONLY WAY I REALLY GET ANY LEANER IS WHEN I CUT THE CARBS DOWN. I DONT THINK I CAN CUT THEM ANY LOWER THEN I ALREADY HAVE. MAYBE 50 TO 80 GRMS. NOW. ANYONE ELSE HAVE INFO? THANX
