Every once and a while it seems someone post the often repeated threads "What do you do?" And "What kind of music do you lift to?"

So I figured I start a get to know your board members thread. Post up what ever you feel comfortable with. Height, weight, best lifts, hobbies, age, work, family etc.

Hi! just joined the group today. I am 27, female who has been working out for years ummm, I have a 135 flat bench now for 4 reps, squat 315 for 4 reps. I am 5'4, 125 and just got 500 2mg Winstrol-V tabs and am about to start those in 2 weeks, so that should be fun I will probably start off with 2 pills a day and move up a pill from there every 2 weeks as long as I have no bad things happen. I workout with my husband and just love it! I have a son that is 21 months old and a dog and a cat and a husband oh yeah and fish. well, nice to meet you all. have a great day!

Naturally I'll get the ball rolling But is looks like someone has beat'en me to the punch - great to have you aboard Brick

Started lifting in Jr. High for sports. Did not do my first cycle until I was 33. 35 five now, and have gained some 35 lbs. of muscle. I weigh in at 235 at a plump 15% b.f. and 5'9" (5'10" with my hair spiked :p )

Wife and I been together for 15 years. She started lifting about five years ago at 29. She was some 160lbs and is 5'6". She fell over doing her first squat with just the bar. Today she can rep 135 and has pushed out 225 for five full reps. Now she is 130 and I figure about full 18% B.F. (Which looks really good on her - as in she still has her boobs She has done a few fitness shows and a few bbing shows cutting all the way down to about 8%

Her main focus is being a NPC judge and will be eligible to test for the national level in three more years. That will be WAY cool to see my wife judge the likes of Colman, Nasser, not to mention all the fitness and BBing ladies.

We started and build a gym in Cal and sold it about 18 months ago. She now works for a health provider and I work in electronics - weapons systems.

I like hard music to workout to and she would rather listen to like aerobic music - Janet Jackson comes to mind.

My other hobby is riding my Harley. A great big fat one too.

No kids, just to cats that I would love to give to someone. Any one want 'em?

Asking women to talk about themselves? Now, that's a welcome change. Pretty new here, but I love the boards! I'm 30, been going to gym since 21, but only seriously working out for past 3 years. Weigh approx. 138 lbs., 5'7". BF approx. 15%. Listen to industrial music when working out (the harder the better), self-emplyed, advertising. No kids, but I have 2 mutts from the pound. Totally addicted to the gym. 5-6 days a week, it's become my religon.

I'm 30, have been working out and active for the last 7 yrs but started really concentrating on weight lifting the last 4 months or so...I LOVE IT!! I'm 5'6", 144 pounds (I was 156 6mo ago so I'm getting there). I tend to like danc-y music with a good beat to workout to but I listen to ALL kinds of music. Two cats, two turtles...and THANK you to all here who give such good advice to novices like me. I can't wait to brag about how much I can squat and press...but let me tell you its already a lot more than it was a few months ago. I never knew I was so damn strong!

8/11/00 Just to update...I'm now at 139 with a lot of GREAT development happening in my upper body...the lower body is coming along. I'm still losing fat from my quad area where I tend to hold it. I started back at the gym in early July and my strength is still skyrocketing.

Thanks again to everyone who posts such great info here...you've all been a great help.

Oops! Don't know what happened to my post. Oh well, here we go again.

I'm 36 yrs old, 5'8" and weigh 173 lbs. I found this site about 4 months back when I was doing a lot of reading and such on getting into shape. I must say, it has been a blessing to me! Everyone here has been so helpful and supportive. Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in because everyone seems to be where I want to be(ie. fit, strong, and sexy).

I've been married for 7 years to an avid runner and we have a 4 year old son.

I'm a Graphic Designer/Manager of a Graphic/Photo shop. I love my job and have gotton to travel quite a bit!

My quest for a better body began shortly after the birth of my son. I balloned to a whopping 216 lbs with my pregnancy and was left a big fat blob. Well I started out down the wrong path to weight loss and fitness and ended up with a thyroid that was shot, a non-existent metabolism, and a bad case of depression. It wasn't until 4 months ago that I finally said enough is enough and started educating myself. I found out that weights were the answer. I started off slowly, then incorporated a better diet. My body is still fighting me, but I've made more gains (or loses depending on how you look at it) over the past 3 months than I did in 4 years. I'm still trying to fix the years of damage that I incurred. One day at a time and one meal at a time.

I really don't have big numbers to brag about in the weight room, but I have made some big gains. Just yesterday, I benched 30 lb dumbbells for 6 reps. That was a first for me, I'd been stuck doing 25's for so long.

Give me some good ole Rock n Roll to workout to, for both weights and cardio and I'm a happy camper. I don't like any new stuff, I guess you can say I'm caught in a time warp.

Well that's enough soul bearing for one day. Hope I didn't bore ya to death.

Ok, I guess I am the baby of the women on here...I am a 20 yr old student on Long Island. my major is Fashion Buying and merchandising for now but I am transferring to a prestigious school where it will be Fashion Advertising.
I found this site when my ex boyfriend told me to take some Clen to get rid of my last little chubs, even though I am really skinny (5'8, 115). Hes a jerkoff, i know. So I went onto Yahoo and typed in "clenbuterol" and I found my new family. Since then I have become much more serious about my training and I have recently started dieting as well b/c of that stubborn chubs at the bottom of my abs. Cardio, diet, diet, diet. I also lift but I am not wanting to be huge, just defined, which I am getting closer to. I have been checking into info on Anavars, and I am not sure if I want to do a cycle yet...
I still live at home with my parents...I'll be moving into NYC next fall (where the gyms are so much more $!)..I have 2 brothers that are older and out of my hair..No pets (my mom hates them b/c they poop in her garden)..I have done a little bit of modeling but my portfolio is getting out of date and I guess I will post some beach shots in the future. Otherwise I am free for the summer and working part time at the family business. Now that everyone knows my life story...I'm off to bed!

Hey ladies,
You definetly have some interesting people here. I've been reading the Anabolic forum for quite sometime, but recently I've been spending some time over here gathering information for my girlfriend.
She just turned 30 and has been weight training for about 7 years. She is a part-time personal trainer and very knowledgable on weight traing and fitness; however, her genetics are less than desirable. So she's looking for a little help to get where she wants to be. So i'm here trying to learn as much as a can about Clen, T3, thermogenics, etc...
Mad props to Warlobo and all the guys and girls who post here regularly, the information you've provided me with is invaluable.

Peace,
Misfit

What a cool thread!

Okay. Im a 36 year old mother of 6. 1 2-legged and 5 4-legged creatures. My daughter is 12: we have 4 dogs and 1 cat. My very significant other is a recovering rodeo champion in the process of undoing all the broken pieces and sampling the world of weight training. We live in the glorious embraces of Colorado. For fun I play on a co-ed inline hockey league, fish, camp, and ski; have both a mountain bike and a racing cycle; just recently purchased a Suzuki Intruder 800. I love yard work! The powers that be sent me here with the gifts of artistry. I do stained glass sculptures in 3-D, scratchboard, and various other things. For a living Ive gone from turning wrenches to Unix Systems Admin ...to Unix technical support. Ive been lifting weights for the last three years (as of this September), and serious as a heart attack from day one. I started at roughly 24% BF and 152# at 54. Now I sit at 63! ...just kidding Im currently sitting at 140# with ~14% BF. Ive always been pretty proud of the arms that are flexed at 13 . On my first cycle, Ive reached 250# on my squats for the last set of 8 (I pyramid the weight up). I do bench dips with 2 45s for 3 sets of 8 ( or just my own b/w on the bars). My greatest accomplishment is all of the above with a fused club foot. Ill likely never compete, but I still wanna get bigger.

Frankly I dont give a shit whats coming over the speakers when Im working out. Its all white noise to me.

Great responses thus far. Let's see, where to begin...
I am a very happily large firefighter. Yes, it is the best job ever. Have been a competitive powerlifter, bodybuilder, basketball, and softball player. I wish I could convince all my friends to get to the gym, but alas... I'm about 5'9" or so and weigh 178 as of last week. My goal lifts are 300 bench,400 squat,500 dead. My best lifts so far have been 225 bench,350 squat, 425 dead. These were performed a few years ago au natural. Looks as if I'm well on my way. I've never realized until the past few years that I have a natural propensity towards athletics. I just always thought they were fun. Too bad I busy bullshitting in my youth instead of applying myself toward something more positive. That is my only true regret in the world...wasting time. Oh well, I ain't dead yet.
My adventures into supplimentation are virginal. I have only done a primo/winny stack and am now trying anavar, which by the way is the absolute shit!! I'm anxious to see how Lobo's lady's sust experiment goes. I'd like to try it for my winter cycle. We'll see. Keeep 'em coming folks this is cool.

wOw! Great string. My name on this board should be "wannaberiptchick". I'm really trying hard to strip off the rest of the fat. I used to model in Ca when I was younger and before two kids. (I have a ten year old and a five year old) Now I'm 32. I always played sports. Gymnastics and Field hockey in College. Started training with my hubby a few years back. Kinda on again off again but steady since last December.
My stats are none to impressive but I'm trying. I'm 5'9", weigh 143, blonde, and at about 15% bodyfat. I definitely want boobs so I have been listening to FitnessChick quite closely.
My training is pretty much the same as my boyfriends. He is a big advocator of my doing all the excercises to the "T" and with the proper form. Lucky I found him huh?

Seeing some other males have responded, I'll add mine:
39 year old male from Ottawa, Canada. I have been active through most of my life with gymnastics, wrestling, small lifting etc. but had gotten lazy of late. (2 young kids, not enough time, the usual excuses). Started back into lifting just over a year ago (totally addicted now), because my 5 yearold boy told me I was getting fat.
I got my Personal Trainer cerification in January, more for personal knowledge than anything else. That's where the PT101 handle comes from.
I am 5'8'' 165lbs ~ 12%BF and growing strength weekly at this point, but not much mass. One of my original goals was to be able to Bench 225. Well I did that on Tuesday for 3 reps clean. New goal 275.
Moral is, you are never too old to start. Can't wait to see how I look in a couple of years.
Great to meet you all, hope we can keep helping each other.

Cheers
PT

Hi brothers and sisters. Well i'm 21year old male. I lived in La, for 20years, and just moved to Co. I've been working out since i was 10years old. I did my first cycle when i was 18, and my x-girlfriend didnt' like that a bit. So i've decided to try the natrual way for now. I've made great gains,I weight 165,bf was 5% not sure what it is now. I just had back surgery, so I had to put my goals on the side for now. I going into fitness & nutrtion, getting my RD, and becoming a personal trainer. I would like to try to model, whenever i get back in shape, and one day have my own gym, where i train people on a one to one level. And give nutritional advice too. I'm not married, but have a girlfriend back home in La. Long distace relationships are hard. Well I hope to get to know everone. Take care,

Seems a fair request coming from Fitness Chick. She's been very sharing of herself with us. Of course you might not get FACES to put with all the names. It's a bit scary. Some of us are members of WonderWomen's IBTC, some of us are not quite svelt yet, others of us are only beginning to put on some muscle. I'm sure some of us are in the class of 'please don't wear that lycra to the gym'. But if some of the others will participate, I'll see about getting some photos scanned.

I am up for posting a pic, but compared to some of the folks here, not sure if I am as much to look at LOL
(plus being 100% natural, I have worked hard to add what muscle I have... no slight against those who use test, hgh, roids, etc.)
my question is this... the only way to post a pic is to refer to a url address using html? even if so, I should get one up sometime, as I got one of the free web sites (AZ Lifters and Fitness Nuts for anyone interested, though I dont have much there now, except a message board)
if there is another method for posting pics let me know, otherwise I'll have to wait til I get my page farther along (next week or so)

I've gotta say I feel a little weird about all the "cyberstuff" but you all seem like an interesting bunch ... So here goes
I'm 32 years old, 5'4" currently about 125lbs (I'm guessing 15-17% bodyfat) I just competed in my first BB competitions about 1 month ago (109 lbs, 8% bodyfat) after 3 yrs of training (with the goal of competing in mind (got a 2nd and 3rd which is OK, I guess but it isn't exactly 1st). I've been married 10+ years. We met in a hole-in-the-wall gym - AH how I miss it! I have four beautiful little girls between the ages of 8 and 3 1/2 years. I'm having a hard time being bulky. I know I have to be this way in order to gain mass, but it's the summer time and I'm actually looking forward to dieting again. I've set my sights on competing again in Oct. If anyone wants to see what a 30-something mother of four (former fat kid and yo-yo diet chick) looks like, let me know.

Where to begin...first of all, great thread. Im 21, 5'5'', currently 135, just had a beautiful baby girl 5 months ago. I started working out when I met my fiance 2 years ago. He is a "hard core" body builder and his lifestyle just drew me to him. I had never met anyone so motivated to look good and to be healthy. It must have been contageous because I began doing the same. I started a cycle of winny, (3- 1cc shots) and stopped when I started working full-time again and going to school full-time again. I didnt have the time to make it to the gym anymore. Ive just gotten a schedule where I can keep it up 4 times a week to train and cardio all week. Im still trying to loose those last few baby pounds, but Im doing really well. This board has been so helpful and motivated me. Thanks guys!

I'm new to the board, but not to working out. Being doing it for 12 years. I competed for the first time this spring and place 2nd in the Women's Light Weight division. Weighed in at 104. I'm training to compete next summer. My husband and I are D-I-Y's. We spend a lot of time working on our house & yard. All though lately we haven't done too much, because he is working on his MBA. Full time job & school doesn't leave much time for anything else.

Hey everyone! Great to get to know y'all a little better! I live in Texas (btwn Dallas & Ft. Worth) w/ my boyfriend and 2 kids (4 & 6). Been working out about 11 years and am currently going at it harder than I ever have. I'm 30 y/o, 5'3, 120 lbs., 17% bf-wanting that number smaller! I have a full-time office job and teach aerobics/kickboxing/water aerobics at night. Was told I have "awesome genetics" and I should consider competing. Still up in the air about that. Can't seem to eat enough-and my face got all sunk in when I lost 10 lbs. (picture Maria Shriver! )I have virtually no boobs after losing weight too (deflated balloons). Thanks to everyone who has helped-this board is such a huge help!

Just arrived from another board and I cannot begin to describe how impressed I am with the number and quality of responses from the women on this board. Also very impressed with the knowledge and "level" of some of the members. Excellent stuff, keep it up!

Anyway, since a few men have added their stats...here's mine: I'm 32 (just turned), and work as an Engineer for a major automotive supplier. Ive been lifting for 20yrs now, and have competed twice. Getting ready for show number three (7/29/00). Down from 233lbs in January to 208.5lbs today, which should put me at 9.7% bodyfat. The great thing is my strength is still increasing. Really wanted to compete as a heavy-weight but it looks like it might be tight, with light-heavies starting at 198.25lbs. We'll have to wait and see. What else...oh, I'm 6'1" and am natural by the way.

Pics can be found there, and anyone can post their own there as well. My problem has something to do with how they are mapping the individual pics, and I'll be damned if I can figure out the absolute path. They appear to referenced through some script.

I certainly do appologize for the inconvenience *gag* ..now I'm being diplomatic.

hey guys.....im new to the board...im a 19 year old female..from canada. I work at a restaurnt as a cook, and im starting nursing school in septmeber. Ive been working out since i was 17 but just got serious that last year...i work out 6 days a week. In the spring summer and fall for cardio i like to go hiking, in line skating, playing football, ultimate frisbee, mountin biking. Ive always played alot of sports, like baseball, volleyball, basektball, field hockey...all on teams then for fun i play tennis, football, golf, roller hockey. Im about to do my first cycle ever...doing a cycle of primo. I found out about this board through my best friend, he is really into working out too. He just started his first ever cycle..he is doing dbol and is later doing sust. I have been reading this for a while before becoming a memeber. Well about working out about two months ago i just started doing chin ups, i never did them before cause i couldnt do like 10 in a row so i didnt do them, then my friend was like you just have to work up too it, i started out only being able to do 2 in a row now i can do 15. Its also helped in the latpull down department too.. i have lots of energy and always looking forward to going to the gym. Everyones information is very helpful and motiving.

First of all let me say this site is the BOMB! The Mod seems awesome and i haven't seen many posts go unanswered. I had been on another board for a while and found out about elite through that board. I just happened to check out the Womens (not expecting this!) and I'm glad to see the Womens Discussion Board is as informative as it is. It also has more posts than the one i was at before. So, I think i'll stick around. About me: I'm 26
5'2" 120lbs at about 15%bf, Ive been training since 96. I'm wanting to get more cut and defined. I would like to see more definition in my legs, a tighter ass, and my tris are lacking. I'm gonna try to accomplish my goals without AS. I may decide to do that sometime in the future. I look forward to learning and growing here.

I live on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains, and would rather be in the gym than skiing. I am 21, 5'7", 165lbs, and need to lose about 20 of those. I lifted competitively in high school quit after. I found the gym again 6 months ago after a 5 year hiatus. I also play rugby and have a jumping horse. I work as a logistics manager for a bottled water company. No kids, just a very large dog, a horse, boyfriend, and a couple of cats.

Hello,
This is my favorite spot on the internet even though I don't post very often I love all the information here. My stats are:

6' tall
155lbs (145 in picture) fight at 147lbs
29yo
38D-26-38

I've been training for about 6 years and have been as high as 165lbs. Ideally, I would like to be 170lbs (I know my frame would look great with 15lbs of muscle added) I loved how strong I felt at 165. I compete in boxing. I was 5-1 as an amateur and won the 1999 Texas golden gloves title. I recently lost my pro debut. I made a huge mistake and fought at 139lbs. I had no strength and felt like a zombie. I'll be fighting her again at 147 and this time she'll feel my power:-) I'm married with a 5 yo daughter and a 3 yo son. I love bodybuilding but it just doesn't fit in my schedule right now with boxing. But watch out as soon as I quit boxing, I'm going to get huge. That's about it, I'm going to try this picture thing. Well, guess i'm a newbie, so i'll let ya'll know who I am!
I am a 24 year old personal trainer, and I also am a fitness competitor. I live in Texas. 5'1, currently 125 lb at 12% bodyfat. From my username, you can gather that i'm blonde...but i'm definately don't fit into the typical "dumb blonde" category!
I've been working out for over 6 years, started as a senior in high school. I was anorexic at the time, and fortunately I found what turned my life around - exercise! One day I looked at myself in the mirror and was disgusted - I wanted to look like the fitness competitors in the magazines I spent hours reading. From that point on, I began making positive changes for my health, and I found what I love to do - personal training! I graduated last year with my degree in Exercise Science.
I just competed last month, and am competing again in August. I train 5 days a week (which is hard for me, i'm used to doing 6 days...I feel lazy on rest days!), doing lots of running, sprints, weights (of course), and plyos.
Glad to have found this board - it's great to have so much info and insight at your fingertips!
Biggest Pet Peeve - when women in the gym claim that lifting weights will make them HUGE and BULKY! I ask them "do I look huge to you?"...
another pet peeve - old, creepy guys in the gym who stare...argh!

ok, well, that's it for now!

I think I'm one of the oldest here! I'm 46 y.o. 5'3" 135# about 20%bf. I work in New York City for an Investment Bank as a Systems Manager. I've been an athlete all my life, but I began to seriously bodybuild when I was 39 as a way to ward off the ill effects of the inevitable MENOPAUSE. There is no way I'm going into that out of shape. After 6 years of training I decided the only way to make serious gains is to enlist the help of AS.
I am single, I have 3 cats, and a boat which I enjoy in the all too short summer up here. I love golf and tennis and try to play whenever I can. I'm pretty good at tennis, but suck at golf.
Love this board!

Well I figure it is about time I introduced myself. I have been reading this board for about 2-3 months now, but have been a little shy to post. I am an 18 year old female and have been into working out since eighth grade. I was never very athletic in sports, so I kind of went on my own path. I have only been serious about training this past year, and have been cleaning up my diet just this past month. (guess I should've done that a little sooner!) These boards are great and give awesome advice- you guys inspire me! Right now I would like to lose about 10-15 lbs and then concentrate on getting more defined/ripped. I am leaving for college in Chicago at the end of August and my main focuses there are going to be training and school. (and I suppose a little fun thrown in there =) Thanks again for the great info & advice you guys give.

I have posted quite a bit so alot of you probably know a little about me. Been working out since the first of the year - started at 185# - maybe more than that as once I hit that weight I never got back on the scale, am down to 145# and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I live in a rural area so my gym is in my shop and at the rate that I am buying equipment will be able to charge membership fees within a few months. I am married with two kids, one 18 and one 6. My son is a training animal and our biggest fights are over who ate the last protein pancake. I am a sculptor for a giftware importer. We spend our free time riding our Harley which is why I got into training - bought it and decided that I didn't look good enough to deserve to ride it -nothin' uglier than a fat chick on the back of a bike IMO.

Thanks for the help Jayelynn. Here's the deal, I'll take some photos at the end of the August for all to see! Why wait? Cause I'm fat and happy right now and am too fucking vain to take less than lean photos! No shame in the truth ya'll.
Stay tuned...

Oh NO! A criminal J. major! Well, make sure you tell us when you become a cop

Good to have you on here. Maybe we can show you that we're not bad folks at all. Heck, might even be a good paper for a profile of the typical "Roid Crazy Lifter" hehehehe

I don't like cats but somehow have a foster cat who just showed up one day and I couldn't get her out from under the bed so I just left her there. Now I am ashamed since I had the bumper sticker "Cat the other white meat" Really though now she stays all the time and meows when she wants out. Never gone to the bathroom in the house so I guess I like her and will have to keep her! You people keep me motivated not to quit. I stay sick a lot and you girls (and guys) really help me Thank YOu

hi Guy's, only for the fact that missgalaxy bumped this post I'd have missed it. A great post. Well bout me.
Stats
Height; 6'2''
weight; 246lbs, 13% b/f.
age; 34 (and hate it, feel younger!!)
I'm on a bulking cycle right now, 750mg testoviron depot and 400mg deca per week so the above stats will change over the next few weeks. I live in Ireland and work as a part time bouncer and full time military (Infantry). I'm married with two children, a boy and girl. I've been training since I was about 16 yrs old. My natural weight is around 220 lbs. My other hobby is shooting/hunting although it's almost impossible to get a licence for big caliber rifles in Ireland. So I'm stuck using a Ruger 10/22 .22 semi auto and a brno over and under shotgun. Thats about it from me. I hope someone starts a similar thread on the other boards. All the best guy's.

Well..I kinda started my own site there..didn't catch a glance at this one till now.
A little about myself...I am 24 years old,5ft6in, 140lbs,Im a Yorkie girl(NY) and a competitive swimmer and triathalon racer. I have been out of the sport(but still training hard)for 3 years due to a car accident(took it all out of me, lost all that muscle), and am making my comeback on September 15th, in which I have hopes of kicking some royal ass.My training consists of cycling 200 miles a week(i must get it up to 300), swimming laps and sprinting...plus any spare time I have in the gym.
I am also a single mother of a 2 year old son, I work with mentally challenged children in a respite program, I have one very annoying cat, a massive Oscar who preys on helpless goldfish,a 4 ft iguana named Desi(did have a Lucy...but she has since passed on), and am attending college part-time for my art degree.
I am an abstract sculptor and a painter, and have also done side projects for a local tattoo parlor(tat design).
I am getting ready right now for my first cycle of primo and clen, and cant wait to get the help from you guys...this is the best site I have found that gives a perspective from a female side. I know...its about 3 am here..I've been up reading all these great posts!

Have been reading the boards for the last month and have found invaluable info.

Am new to working out although I have been reading fitness magazines and books for years. Started working out 13 weeks ago for the first time ever.

Am 38 years old female, Married, Mother of 3 boys-men(20,18,16). 5'3", at 125lbs. Don't have any idea what my BF% is. What prompted me to getting my butt into the gym was you guessed it. Mid Life crisis!! I figured I have wasted enough time doing nothing, I'm going to be 40 pretty soon and I have nothing to show for it, so I decided to do something about it.

It just nice to see that there are so many other girls that are struggling with the same things you are, diet, gaining muscle, lossing fat, whether to do a cycle, or get a boob job, etc.

I am from a hispanic background so being a muscular female is not what you would call acceptable. My husband and kids are very supportive and encourage me, but they are the ONLY ones. Everyone else thinks I'm nuts. Maybe they are right but I feel GREAT. Have never felt or looked better and reading the posts helps me feel better about what I am doing.

Keep it up, this has been a great help. This was a great IDEA.

Trinity13: If you have 3 grown boys you can't say that you are almost 40 and have nothing to show for it. Being a mother is the most stressful yet most rewarding job there is.

I read this site continuously since my boyfriend introduced me to it as well as the world of fitness! Its been a great help to read others views and get information about everything from workouts to diets to what movie is a hot pick! This is my first time to a chat board and it has been a great experience - I think I'm actually addicted to looking at it every day!
Anyway, about me - I've been working out for three years now but have only been hitting it hard and dedicating myself to it for the past 4 months. I'm thinking about doing a show as all my friends and boyfriend are into bodybuilding and competing. Even though I get many compliments at the gym (which is an awesome feeling!), I still feel I'm a long way off - 5'7" 140lbs with 10%bf. I just turned 26, have blonde hair w/blue eyes and living in Cali right now but making my way back to Texas (Austin). I work for a CLEC providing DSL lines (high speed internet access) - well at the moment but that's going to change when I move. No pets but definitely want to get a pup when I move. I love to hike, ski, run, lay on the beach, travel, read, party!..and of course, workout! Music that pumps me up has to be hard - Metillica, Limp B, Rob Zombie, Rage..you see where I'm going.
Thanks to all for the great advise...and the laughs!

I missed this! I am pretty new here, but very glad I found this board. So much GREAT info!
I am a cocktail waitres in a casino and a jeweler with a home based business. I have lifted for many years and get serious from time to time. I'm serious right now.
I have a 17 year old son, who's very fun and cool. I also have 5 cats and 2 dogs. Love ALL 4 legged critters, usually alot better than people.
I have no incredable lifts to tell you about. I work out to look good. That's the best revenge!
I am 5'3", 122 lbs. Trying to to lean out and cut up!

Well I am a new one. I am a 23 year old single mother of one little girl. I have only been seriously lifting for about a year. I used to be a twig. I am 5'10 146 with about 15% bf. I eventually want to compete and put on some major mass!! I am a student majoring in Marketing and finance. I started working out and became addicted and now I love it and can't wait to compete. I am fairly new at everything so I am still learning. I have a lot of questions. I am all natural thus far but I am looking to try a few things to enhance my size. This message board has been of great help and very interesting. I look forward to meeting all of you.

My name is new here, but I've been lurking here for a few months off and on because I'm shy. Not much to tell you about me. I'm a female bodybuilder, natural so far, fairly strict vegetarian (I occassionally eat free-range eggs). Ummmmmm Might post some pics if I can get someone to do it for me because I'm also a computer idiot. It took me two days to get registered here correctly! I don't have a lot to add to the group because you guys are great and seem to have all the good input you need. Keep it up.
