I personally like Mytoplex by EAS. its probably about average price but it taste good and they have different MRP's for different types of lifters. I just save some bucks and buy the regular and add a scoop of my whey protien, that gives me about 60 grams or so of protien.

Ubermass brought up something I'm curious about. My protein drink is
20 -30 g Designer Protein
5 g Creatine Powder
5 g Glutamine
Mixed it with water...tastes like hell
Mixed it with milk.....fart like hell
I hear people mixing with Grape juice.
Anyone do this...I'm going to try it today and see. Let me know...real curious

Just to let you know I will be taking the MRP's twice a day at 10am and 2pm so the price is a concern. I will go through a 20 pack in 10 days and I can not afford to spend $30 in that short of time.

I've tried a lot of them and for taste and quality I've stuck with Myoplex Deluxe chocolate. There are some web sites that offer Myoplex for very reasonable prices too.

A good way to save a ton of money on MRP's is to just use whey protein, combined with skim milk and 1 or 1.5 teaspoons guar gum. You should be able to get bulk guar gum at just about any health food store and while adding fiber to your whey + milk drink, it will also thicken it up like an MRP. After all, it's not too hard to do the math and come up with a very similar macronutrient ratio (about 40g protein, 20g carbs) as an MRP just using whey and milk, and like an MRP, you get the time-released protein effect of whey + casein.
