Any MRP mixed with fruits to give you the extra carbs. This is the perfect time to take in some serious carbs. Your glycogen levels are low so you need to replenish them. Your muscles will devour those carbs. I'm assuming you're not too big so I'd recommend atleast 40g of protein and 150g of carbs. After drinking your supplement, you're going to be hungry again within an hour or 90min so down some real food again with plenty of protein and carbs. Just stay away from those weight gainers, they contain too many cals for the body to digest at once and most are just too high in sugar. Only weight gainers that seem alright are NLarge 2 by Prolab and Kwik Size by Labrada. But any mrp will do with some tasty fruits to make a thick, creamy shake. Just train hard, eat a lot and the results will come. Goodluck. If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to help.

Cytodyne AAC, this is one of the only supps that truly does work. Take before and after workout...Cycle it though, go through a bottle then wait 4weeks before going at it again, seems to work better this way.

I'm a beginner, and currently trying out Metaform Hyperdrive 360... It seems to
have a little bit of everything in it, and
so far so good. I recommend the grape
flavor over the wildberry.. even if you
prefer 'berry flavors over grape, like me..
I've just startede lifting for 5 weeks now
and I gained 20 lbs... I'm sure its helping
somewhat, as it contains creatine and protein
that I dont normally get....

About 30 minutes after I work out I have a fruit shake. In the blender I put 1 cup of nonfat plain yogurt; 1/2 cup frozen strawberries; 1/2 cup frozen blueberries; I usually add apple juice or some other type of fruit juice and 1/2 cup peaches. It makes two very big servings. I drink that, it's about over 100 grams of carb and it has some protein value. I drink one serving then an hour later I drink the other serving. Then about 30 minutes later, I have a protein shake. Also, don't use the recipe if you're trying to cut up. And you may not want to take it at night, if you decide to try it. You may gain some fat. I use it mid morning, because I always workout in the earlier. If you have the money, I recommend trying Met-rx's Glycemet, however you spell it. It's a carb drink and it sounds pretty good. Maybe you should try it. Also use glutamine and BCAA's.
