I have been using fat burners for about 3 months. I have just recently quit taking the fat burners. It is a very big change for me. I feel lethargic. Has anyone ever experienced this and if so does anyone know why this does this?

Which fat burner were you taking? How long did you take it and in what amounts?

There are several different types and they all can cause this sort of energy drop in certain cases. The most likely cause is a rebound effect of your adrenal glands. These glands are located just above your kidneys and are responsible for some hormone production, most notably, adrenalin. When you go on a fat burner that contains ephedra or norephedrine your adrenals kick into high gear in response to the chemicals. When you get off of them too quickly or if you took them for too long, then your adrenal glands will require a short period of time to return to normal function (right now they may be a little low on production). This is due to the negative feedback loop mechanism. If you took something like triax or tricana, then that's the same mechanism only applied to the thyroid gland and it's hormones.

Your energy should return to normal soon. If it does not, then you should see your doctor just in case.
Good luck and I hope that helps!

yeah it's happened to me before after taking them for a few months. personally, i think it has to do with having no caffeine after your body becomes so used to getting lots of it nonstop for those 3 months.

headaches lasted just a couple days for me, and the overall energy drop maybe a week or so.

actually the main reason is that your body is going through a withdraw from the cafeine and the ephedrine . U see anything that works on the central nervous system has is addicting in a way . So after u are on caffeine and ephedrine for 3 months u have alot more energy to train harder in the gym . but once u stop taking them your matabolism drops by usually 10% . when people get of these fat burners they need to do more aerobics to keep there matabolism
high but it will be harder for u to do aerobics sinse you are withdrawing from the fat burners but that's how it is. It usually takes 7 to 15 days to get back your normal energy it depends on the individual, and some people when they go off fat burners they don't get tired at all . like I said it all depends and the person . So maybe u will feel tired and not motivated for maybe a week or 2 . BUt u will get back your natural energy in no time .

I take my ECA stack M-F and I don't have any problems like that. I let my body rest on the weekend. Usally just hit up some cardio. Later, Green
