It is the most abundant amino acid in the body and helps to prvent muscle catabolism as well as promote protein synthesis. There are also studies that show it plays a role in immune function as well.

glutamine is worth its weight in gold, it constanty keeps your muscles growing and preventing breakdown. it is the most essential amino acid for lean mass. infact it wrks so well that people who dont even lift should get their daily dose

That's exactly what I do , 3 times daily 6/7 grams of Glutamine. This is really good stuff !!! It helps recovery and prevent catabolism , and increase lean mass. I am only experiexcing some problems with my stomach ...... do you ???

Hey BEEFY171 , I do not believe that you do not know Glutamine , you use 4DIOL and 19NOR4DIOL from Substrate Solutions .... what a bomb .... and you do not know a very simple thing like Glutamine !!!!

Also supplement in Glutamine. I use ProLab Glutamine, get the 1000g's container for like 60 bucks and lasts a long time. Also, I dont experience stomach problems, I usually put a tea spoon in my mouth and drink water to wash it down. Try that once. It also might be something else your taking. I think the glutamine in your whey is a different glutamine, glutamitric acid, which I read a article and it said there is a diference. Good luck guys.

My rule of thumb is that all people should not go to GNC.
