Now I never thought I would be saying this, but as i was sitting in felony probation waiting for my name to be called i took a good look around at the people sitting in there. Now true I was only growing weed, but I am not one of these people. Not to piss off anyone else that may be in my situation, but these people were losers. Everyone in there was the scum of the earth. You know the kind of people that dont even look real. I felt like shit sitting in there with all the waste of human life. True i dont think weed is that bad, but if that is where it is going to take me then fuck it. Anyway i am leaving my current roomate to deal with this garden and I am moving back to south florida to bang roids and stay out of trouble. I am glad to hear it. Everyone at some points comes to the same realization. I went to a Rolling Stones concert and Mick Jagger got serious for a moment and talked about when they found the drummer dead in the pool on a how he realized drugs aren't cool. I started getting drunk in 5th grade and high in 6th. By 8th grade I was high every day, and some days I would smoke pot in the morning, and get drunk at school AND drop acid at the same time. Kept a bottle of Southern Comfort in my art locker. This was all well and good until my Junior year. I was constantly stoned (coke, acid, pot, liqour, speed etc). In about a month one guy I knew since kindergarten and partied with executed this car salesman (almost like the scene from FIGHT CLUB with the convenience store guy) while tripping on PCP. Another friend committed suicide. Another friend of mine who held a state high hurdle record committed the biggest robberies in that towns history - the silver alone he took from ONE house was worth over $50,000. Another good friend of mine (who lettered in all sports and was captain of the football and basketball team) got fronted A LOT of coke, and was supposed to sell it. But snorted it up before he could. had a contract put out on him. I had some major crap happen to me...to weird to talk about. I decided I got to get out of this trap. It took me several years to get completely clean..... I would quit and then start again over and over. But I really wanted to get away from it. The last time I even had a drink was 15 years ago (I am 38 now). I DO NOT MISS IT. I am so glad to be free of it. So many of my friends were more gifted then me (good students, athletes etc) but I am one of the only ones to end up okay. I am fairly successful and happy. With NO POLICE RECORD. I still get crazy, and take risks....I hangglide and take business risks 9whcih have paid off most of the time luckily). Dude, that realization probably saved your life. One of the guys who I used to do some major drugs with in HS seemed to get himself straighted out. We use to party SOOOOOOO HARDDDD. He got straight it seemed. Worked for a major senator in Washington and then developed an interactive TV program that allowed hospitals in kansas to keep track of rural elderly patients. 2 years ago they found him dead in a bathtub in Washington with a needle in his arm. Left behind a wife and a new baby. Son of a motherfucking bitch. Made me all the more committed to stay away from it. I can't believe E2 has never done drugs but is thinking of doing XTC. I do not feel quite the same about roids as I do mind altering drugs. I am on testo and HGH now as prescribed by an anti aging MD. I was a bouncer for a time in a really rough scroungy bar about 20 years ago. I was never that big but I could take it to anyone. E2 if I could kick some sense into your ass I would do it. Not out of meanness...but man, if you have not become apart of that world dont. Of course you cannot ever beat sense into a person. EVERYBODY (even the Rolling Stones...the hardest partying band of all time.....who wrote the song "sympathy of the devil") at some point who does drugs wants out. THe problem is not everyone can get out once they have gotten in..... it is a hard chain to break. You can become a successful business and family man like my friend and the horse will call to you. Nobody thinks they will get into hard drugs or go a little nuts and blow someone away when they try a little drugs......but it happens to hundreds of people everyday. IP: Logged |

I might get flamed for this but just my opinion. I know several people who smoke pot and have a very successful life. I don't think its bad. You just got to be smart about it. Now when you talk about hard core drugs like cocaine etc. i agree with all of you....stay the fuck away from it. I've seen and heard too many stories about peoples lives going down the tubes with that shit. I've read on this board people saying why do people do drugs, or people who do drugs are losers......STERIODS IS A DRUG, AND A VERY POWERFUL ONE. When you say that you are being a hypocrite. Good Job. The moving thing is a good idea! I went clean too many times to count, and they never stuck. I had to change everything, friends, eating habits, everything. That's what got me here! 1)Yeah i know steroids are a drug, but i wont be selling them. If the cops can find them then my bad. 2)Some people can smoke dope forever and be just fine, but i am a unlucky SOB and this it the best way for me to stay out of trouble. 3)Thanks to everyone that gave me props for my choice. It is true some people can smoke pot and never have a problem. I have a friend of mine I have known for over 25 years. use to smoke pot with him, thats all he ever did. Stable friendly guy. he still gets high a few times a month. He is a banker - Mr. Banker stoner. BUT....and this is a big but.... few people ever think they are going to start doing hard drugs. Its a slippery slide. And the guys I knew were exceptional - athletes, honor roll students, wealthy etc. Drugs can take a strong man and make him do some sorry things. IP: Logged |

Shit guys. I smoked MJ since I was 10, with my mom & dad. I lived a lot like novicejuicer in highschool, and I never thought I would get into hard drugs but I did. It is amazing how easy it is to just slide in there and give it a snort. When things get really crazy that needle doesn't even seem that bad. Somehow, I managed to get my ass out of it, but it took years. I still toke on occasion. I must admit that Test is a hugely powerful and addictive mind altering drug, and I love the feel of it. I just takes lots of will power to stop using. You must have the ability to disregard your impulses right now because they are being influenced by drugs. It takes me weeks and weeks before I feel normal again after a cycle. During a cycle I don't make any decisions, and afterwards, during the withdrawl, I don't make any decisions either. You are just not yourself at those times, and you have to realize what is going on. IP: Logged |

Hard-core partying is a wildly exciting time. The high rollers and high class party girls are hard people to resist partying with. God knows I still lapse and find myself at the end of 3 day no sleep binge. That said it's very empty, and the people my buddy sat in jail with until I could bail him out are not the people you want to associated with. Just the people I waited with in the waiting area made me feel dirty. They scared me straight for a little while. Thanks for the reminder. IP: Logged |

Ive smoked pot for almost a year now, and to those who say pot is innocent, its really not. Its a gate way drug big time. Im only 17, and most my friends are big into drugs, all of them, but me. The temptation is there big time, I always wana just snort one line, to see what its like, or drop once, or roll, but I always look at them, and realize there life revolves around drugs. My one friend also sold his really nice truck to take care of his coc. problem. Two years ago I said I was gona never try smoking dope. Never even thought it would be possible to do anything else. Now I always just wana try them, but still have enough in me yet to stay away. Tried finding new friends, but cant, I always end up going to the place where we always sit when theres nothing to do.
