I think it's an New York Italian thing, if you ever watch the old mobster or boxing movies all the guys playing cards smoking stogies in there dress pants and white tanks tops, or the scene that started it all is "Raging Bull" when Deniro "Jake Lamotta" chase�s then beats his wife and then goes to his brother's house and beats his ass at the dinner table in front of his family "check what he's wearing". Any way to understand how this all started you need to watch the "Godfather" and "Raging bull". IP: Logged |

They live in trailers in Texas. Often with several cars in the front yard that don't run , and at least five dogs under the porch. You can always spot them by the dirty white tank top under shirt they have on. L8R IP: Logged |

i also think of shirts that have the sleves torn off. like a button down shirt that has the sleves torn off. those are wife beaters in my opinon. every person i've ever seen in that attire looks like he beats his wife. IP: Logged |

My X husband, the redneck!!! But I could kick his ass now. Good thing he cant come into the state anymore and had no contact with our kids, or I would, the dumb ass. AND, he does live in a trailer in New Mexico and used to wear white t shirts to show how strong he was when he hit the kids and me.
