If you are in the New York area, get optimum online through Cablevision. Its soooooo fast and its one flat rate no matter how long you stay on. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Anything is better than AOL....anything........ but go with a local ISP company...those national companies suck, too many customers and too little bandwidth IP: Logged |

Yeah I found a couple local ones that also have unix shell accounts, but i think I may just get a free ISP and get my shell account from the uk or some other country. IP: Logged |

I used Netzero for awhile and it's a good one thats free. I just change to Telocity. Its high speed and you're always on so you don't have to dial up and you don't get disconnected. It's twice the cost of AOL but you don't need a second telephone line. IP: Logged |
