Jay Cutler could have finished second or worse in the 2010 Mr. Olympia and still have been considered one of the greatest bodybuilders ever. After all, Cutler has already won the Mr. Olympia title three times and he became the first man to reclaim the title after losing it to Dexter Jackson in 2009.
But Cutler was just as motivated to win again this year as he showed up in great shape. In fact, Cutler looked like a man among boys as he grabbed the Mr. Olympia title for a fourth time. His nearest competition, Phil Heath, didn't even come close to beating Cutler as Jay looked crisp and huge from every angle.
While Cutler's impressive victory wasn't really much of a surprise, there were some other surprises - mainly Kai Greene coming in 7th place. Out of anybody, I thought that Kai Greene had a shot to upstage Cutler this year and earn his first Mr. Olympia title. Guess I was wrong though as Greene didn't even make the top 6 this year.
The other results weren't any surprise as Branch Warren continued on a strong year by taking third place and 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson took fourth place. It will certainly be interesting to see if Cutler continues his dominance in 2011 and picks up a fifth Mr. Olympia title.
