The 2010 Mr. Olympia is right around the corner, and I got to thinking about what will happen in the main event this year. First off, I think it's really impressive that Jay Cutler made history by becoming the first person to regain the title after losing it. So at this point, I'd have to say that Cutler will reign supreme once again in 2010.
Now second place is where the real battle will begin with several people worthy of a look here. But I'd have to say that Kai Greene has looked good in contests throughout the year, and I think he's motivated to make a run at the title....or second place.
As far as third place goes, I like Phil Heath to finish in this spot. Last year many people picked Phil to win it all with the contest wide open. However, Jay Cutler took over despite a good showing from Heath.
Dexter Jackson, who was the 2008 Mr. Olympia, is my pick to take fifth place. Dexter looked sharp last year, though he was just a little bit off what he put together in 2008. I still like him to finish in the top 5.
One more prediction I'd like to make is Branch Warren taking sixth place. Branch is always a solid contender, and I think he'll come into the 2010 Mr. Olympia with an outside chance to finish at the top.
