Is there any way not to get annoying notifications from the board about someone

posting in the same thread were I happened to post before?
I tryied to edit it in "options", but it doesn't work, obviously.
OK, I'm not so strong with computer knowledge, it's not my field, can someone help me out, please?

Go up top and click on "profile". Then go to "edit options". Switch your email notification to "no". Then go to the bottom of the page and click on "submit modification".
