clomid while on cycle

I was just wondering about this.. cause i've always heard clomid is only used post cycle but this guy over at http://www.sover.net/~timw/test1.htm suggests taking it while ON the cycle... any thoughts?

It's not necessary, it's a rather weak anti-estrogen so some people who are feeling cheap and don't want to pay the money for the good stuff (arimidex) might go with clomid, but it's not very effective... HCG can be a good addition to any cycle to keep the testes sensetized to LH, making recovery at the end easier...
