Derm just took me off of accutane...

I know this don't have much to do with AAS, but I figure you's know alot more about this stuff then me, and I can really use some help. Thanks bro's.

I've been on accutane for about 11 weeks, using 80 mg a day. Went for my blood work on tuesday, and just got the results. My values were slightly high. My AST is 44, the norm is 0-40. My ALT is 48, the norm is also 0-40. The norm for GGT is 0-65, mines is 83. My questions are:

1. Considering the results are only slightly high, dont you think the doc should've maybe let me stay on with half the dosage, say 40 mg a day?

2. I just picked up the liver detox, which I started this morning, and I ordered glucorell R off of AF store. If I were on these things from the beginning, would this be happening? And will these things work in time for my next lab, which is in 3 weeks, to see if he'll put me back on???

3. I've been drinking pretty heavily lately, on weekends, could how much does that actually affect it??? Alot, or just a little???


I was planning on starting a cycle in another month, but I guess this kills them plans. Sucks fucking hard. Please gimme some help on them 3 questions.

Not sure how it works where you'r from but where I am once my doc writes me a script for whatever and I cash it in a pharmacy, its there for me to use and re-use (depending on how many re-fills your doc gave ya). Do you have any extra packs lying around that you can keep using while on your cycle? Any excessive drinking on this shit is definitely not wise. 3 Weeks probably will not change you values enough for your doc to put you back on, plus with accutane treatment there is no starting and stopping and starting again.

The doc only gives you 1 month at the time of this shit. Thats the problem. And it wasn't done working yet, I am not yet toally clear, although I am alot clearer than I was. In 3 weeks, even with the glucorell R, and liver detox, it won't be enough time???

Get on the policosanol @ 40mg/day and if you've got enough pound back a good 1000mg/day of the glucorell-r this plus the tyler's might get you off the hook. You got nothing to lose. load up on the garlic and Niacin, and Dandelion root and red rice extract too. You doc sactually said he'd put you back on if your levels improved?

FINISH ACCUTANE THEN wait 1-3 months to juice



accutane is a serious drug and doctors dont fuck around with it

if you are off accutane more then a month and then try to get on they WONT DO IT .......gotta wait a long ass time to take accutane again

11 week of accutane may help some but a full course is 15-20 to see total effects

Your right Tiger, I was a stupid ass. I was also popping percusets a few times, and ricodins which I'm sure made it even worse. I will not touch another drink or pill every again until I get back on accutane and finish it. The doc says in 3 weeks if my levels have improved, he will put me back on at 40 mg a day. And beleive it or not, he never told me not to drink and stuff. The guy comes into the room, says u need accutane, and leaves the room. But either way, I knew damn well I shouldn't have been doin them things, I just thought I was invincible I guess.

How long before I can get my levels back to the norm? Is three weeks enough time with the detox and glucorell? and where can I get that policosinol? And what exactly is it? Will it help alot?

I have to say. You know what you did wrong and even still look at the levels, not good, but only 4 pts higher than the max, even with all the crap you were taking.

The supplements that Mr. Black recommended are good ideas. Get your crap together and go talk to the Doc. I agree that the 'tane is not something to start and stop.

But if he doesnt see things your way...
Other than the black market, there are also some research sites with this starting to show up. So if you can keep yourself clean, there are things you can do to stay on.

For me, the sides are not worth it. I would rather get the gel if I had to, or try something like benzaclin gel. I use this stuff everyday. I am on 1g+/wk now and clean and clean. This stuff is pretty mild in terms of sides, so the doc may give it to you since he took you off the accutane.
