Below is my email to DirectSupplement about their Dextrose nutrition information "mystery"
> I have been using the DEXTROSE made by Supplement Direct. On the
nutrition label, it claims to have 75g of Dextrose in 1/3 cup. I measured
it w/ a digital scale and no matter how much I try to pack into a 1/3 cup,
the MAXIMUM I get is about 50g, which is 33% less than your claim.

Below is the response from DirectSupplement
It could easily be a bit more than a 1/3 cup depending on the density of the
powder and moisture level. It varies from batch to batch, but in all cases
if you need to have exact amounts we would always recommend a digital scale.
Thanks

I wasn't all that impressed by SD's response. It really seems to me that they don't really care that mch about their product and their customer. If a "batch to batch" variation will result in a 33% shift of nutrition content, I don't think they have a good product.
People, if you have a digital scale, take it out and measure a 1/3 cup and see what you get. It ain't gonna be 75g. It is about 50g no matter how hard to "pack" the 1/3 cup.
